Ecosign is a biodegradable name badge made from natural timber. Select from various ready-made shapes and sizes, or get a custom shape perfectly suited for your brand.
We make Ecosign wooden name badges by cutting birch plywood into printable blanks. After the wooden name badge blanks are cut, they can be stained black or treated with a clear wood oil to help keep the freshly cut wood color for years to come.
Ecosign wooden name badge is a true example of craftsmanship, each individual name badge is unique and slightly different from the next.
Our wooden products are made from birch plywood, collected from sustainably managed forests in Hirvensalmi, Finland. The raw wood comes from certified sources (FSC® and PEFC™). Birch plywood is cut and post-processed in our production in Helsinki, where the printing takes place.
Finland is Europe's most heavily forested country. In Europe, Finland is a forest giant, having more than sixteen times more forest per capita than in any other European country.

Name badges made from real wood require more care than regular plastic or metal name badge. As a natural timber material, the wood name badges are susceptible to water, so we recommend selecting Ecosign only for environments where they are not likely to get a lot of moisture.
Every Ecosign name tag is printed in full-color, regardless of the design. When you order custom-printed Ecosign name badges, there are no extra charges for the number of colors used in your logo. We never charge extra for the colors used in name badge printing, significantly reducing the expenses in staff identification.
Ecosign wooden name badges are supplied with needle attachment unless you choose the separately priced two-piece magnetic attachment. The advantage of the magnet on the needle is that the magnet does not break the textiles because the magnet's counter piece attaches inside the garment.
